Tool and Die Supervisor - 2nd Shift

General Description :
The Tool & Die Supervisor directs job assignments, ensures production, and resolves production problems in the Tool & Die area. The Tool & Die Supervisor reports directly to the Tool & Die Manager.
Responsibilities :
- Support and follow the Company Safety Programs
- Support and follow Quality & Environmental Programs
- Supervise and evaluate the activities of Tool & Die employees
- Manage conflicts
- Contract knowledge and application
- Continuously improve processes
- Assist in the design of job layouts
- Ensure and maintain quality standards
- Maintain and enforce rules of conduct
- Perform housekeeping duties
- Order supplies, component dies have
- Communicate with all production departments
- Troubleshoot dies and tooling
- Utilize people and time efficiently
- Identify and provide necessary and appropriate training for employees
- Other duties as required
Preferred Qualifications :
Equipment Used :
Overhead cranes, die movers, forklift, band saw, grinders, block and tackle, drill press, lathes, impact wrench, set-up wrench, hand tools, gauges, micrometers, jacks and extractors, protective earplugs and safety glasses. Truck mounted crane and tractor-trailer when applicable.
