We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Artisan Chef Manufacturing Co. in Lawrence, Massachusetts.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning the movement of goods daily/weekly, including scheduling deliveries and pickups for a refrigerated food manufacturer. Ensuring efficient and cost-effective transportation of goods to customers is a key aspect of this role.
The Logistics Coordinator will work collaboratively with other departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery/receipt of goods. This includes identifying and organizing daily/weekly sales orders, coordinating pickup/delivery dates with carriers based upon sailing schedule, arranging and scheduling trucks for the pickup and delivery of raw materials and ingredients, and communicating with customers, carriers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery/receipt of goods.
The ideal candidate will have proficiency in relevant technical tools, software, and processes necessary to perform job functions efficiently and accurately. A strong understanding of logistics and supply chain principles, as well as excellent communication and analytical skills, are essential for success in this role.
