- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to logistics and transportation
- Address and resolve any issues that arise during the logistics process, such as delays, damages, or discrepancies
- Schedule and manage outbound Less Than Truckload (LTL) shipments using Best Way, ensuring timely delivery with premium white-glove service
- Negotiate rates and contracts with shipping companies and carriers to secure the most favorable terms.
- Process receipts and stock transactions accurately within ERP system
- Maintain precise records of all incoming and outgoing paperwork, including packing slips and delivery confirmations.
- Thoroughly document any damage on incoming materials on shipment slips.
- Receive incoming materials and supplies from third-party logistics (3PL) partners and manufacturers.
- Communicate efficiently with customers, vendors, and internal teams to address inquiries and resolve logistics-related issues.
- Notify recipients of received shipments and packages promptly
- Prepare outbound items for shipment by packing, crating, loading, and securing product
- Conduct cycle counts of inventory as needed
- Consolidate clutter and maintain a tidy workplace
- Collaborate with department leaders to drive continuous improvement initiatives
