Currently, we are looking to welcome a talented Freelance Senior Writer whose strength is in crafting impactful financial and investment content. This opportunity will be freelance for twelve months and a hybrid (three days) in our client’s Los Angeles, CA, office. We are only seeking residents in Los Angeles, CA, for this opportunity.

Your Expertise :

A strong background in financial writing, with at least 5 years of experience creating high-quality content in corporate or creative environments.
Exceptional ability to translate complex financial and investment concepts into clear, engaging materials for diverse audiences, including financial professionals and internal stakeholders.
Proficient in leveraging research tools and databases to gather statistics, market trends, and audience insights for content creation.
Adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and leadership, to align content with organizational goals and strategies.
Experience in multi-channel content creation, including print, email, video, presentation decks, and web materials, with a focus on SEO optimization for digital deliverables.

Your Responsibilities :

Partner with key stakeholders to develop and refine strategic content for various deliverables, such as presentations, emails, videos, and other marketing collateral in support of high-level initiatives.

Create original content that aligns with business goals, effectively communicates key messages, and adheres to corporate brand standards, tone, and compliance requirements.

Update and enhance existing materials by revising tone, refreshing data, and ensuring alignment with current timelines and objectives.

Conduct in-depth research and interviews with subject matter experts, including senior leaders and investment professionals, to gather relevant insights and craft compelling narratives.

Manage multiple writing projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, clear communication of updates, and alignment with project timelines.

Collaborate with design teams to develop visually engaging materials, providing input on layout and content presentation.

Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and company initiatives to maintain relevance and accuracy in all content.

Requirements :

At least 5 years of financial writing experience in corporate or regulated industry creative environments, with a proven ability to produce accurate, high-quality content.

Deep understanding of investment and financial concepts , with experience creating materials for financial professionals and corporate audiences.

Proficient in tools for content creation and management , with an understanding of SEO principles for digital deliverables.

Strong skills in project management, communication, and collaboration , with the ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines.

Exceptional attention to detail and adherence to legal, compliance, and brand guidelines.

Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team, contributing proactively to broader marketing and communication initiatives.
