What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server/Bartender position at Artisanal Restaurant?
Artisanal was established in 2005. Artisanal is a Modern American, Fine Dining Restaurant set in a beautiful barn-style building. At Artisanal, team orientation, professionalism and where respect is key. Artisanal is structured and family-oriented. The restaurant is open for dinner only, May-October end, Tuesday-Saturday. We offer the following position, for staff that may enjoy this type of environment.
Server
Duties
- Team Player
Artisanal is a team environment. Staff assists each other in related duties as assigned to ensure smooth flow of service.
- Take customer orders and provide food, wine & spirit menu information.
Wine knowledge is a plus.
- Maintain a clean and organized work place
- Adhere to all food and alcohol service standards
- Collect payment from customers and process transactions accurately
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food service for customers
Qualifications
- Previous 4 years of experience as a server (higher end restaurant preferred)
-Have solid knowledge of spirits & classic cocktails
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Ability to handle transactions accurately and efficiently
- Familiarity with food handling and safety protocols
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Wage plus tips/service charge
Bartender
Duties same as Server, also including:
- prepare spirits & classic cocktails executed in a timely manner
Wine knowledge is a plus.
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies
Qualifications same as Sever, including:
- Previous 4 years experience as a bartender or in a similar role preferred
-Have solid knowledge of spirits & classic cocktail recipes and execution
Wage plus tips/service charge
Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Pay: $21.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
