Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Monitor and manage inventory levels of bar supplies
Experience:
- Previous experience working as a bartender in a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Proficient in cash handling procedures
- Knowledge of basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating bills
- Understanding of food safety regulations and practices in the food industry
- Experience in catering events is a plus
As a bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers and providing them with exceptional service. You will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction by preparing and serving beverages, handling cash transactions, and maintaining cleanliness in the bar area. Your experience in the food industry, proficiency in cash handling, and knowledge of POS systems will contribute to your success in this role.
