We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Interior Design Assistant to join our team and support our design initiatives.

Position Overview:The Interior Design Assistant will play a vital role in supporting our design team in various stages of the design process. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a passion for interior design. The ideal candidate will assist with project documentation, client presentations, and the execution of design concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the lead designer in developing design concepts and presentations for clients.
• Conduct research on design trends, materials, furnishings, and finishes to support project development.
• Prepare mood boards, color palettes, and material samples for client meetings.
• Assist in space planning and drafting preliminary layouts using design software.
• Attend client meetings and take notes to ensure all client requests and feedback are documented.
• Organize and maintain project files, samples, and design documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to obtain quotes, samples, and product information.
• Help with the procurement process, including tracking orders and managing delivery schedules.
• Support the team during installations and site visits, ensuring design specifications are met.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to contribute to team discussions and brainstorming sessions.
• Manage social media accounts, create content, and maintain a regular posting schedule for Artisol’s several platforms.

Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proficiency in design software such as Chief Architect, 2020, and SmartSheet preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• A portfolio showcasing your design work (academic or professional) is preferred.
• Previous experience in an interior design firm or related field is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
