Landscape Maintenance Foreman/Forewoman 

Artistic Grounds, inc is hiring an experienced Maintenance Crew Leader to provide high-quality landscaping services to our customers. You’ll be responsible for mowing, mulching, edging, fertilizing, raking, pruning, and other lawn care and maintenance duties. Responsibilities

• General landscaping services including mulching, mowing, pruning, weeding, ect..

• Completing jobs efficiently with budgets and final product in mind

• Supervise/oversee and direct the activities of the maintenance crew, ensuring all team members are performing their tasks efficiently and safely.

• Carry out quality control tasks, inspecting work at various stages to ensure compliance with standards and specifications.

• Equipment maintenance

• Plan and organize the daily workload, coordinating necessary resources and materials to meet timelines.

• Communicate effectively with clients and management to provide updates and resolve issues.

• Ensure safety protocols are always followed, promoting a clean job site.

• Train and mentor team members, fostering a positive work environment that encourages continuous improvement.

• Assist in the estimation of job costs, preparation of quotes, and management of project budgets.

• Actively problem-solve and troubleshoot project-related issues.

Requirements 

• 2-3 years of maintenance experience 

• Proven experience as a Team Leader or supervisor, with strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.

• Must have a valid Driver License and Medical Exam Certificate (DOT)

• Highly motivated, self-driven, and detail-oriented.

• Must be professional in appearance and actions. 

• Great time management skills.

• Knowledge of tools and equipment used in landscaping 

• Ability to provide clear written and verbal instructions. 

• Punctual and dependable with a can-do attitude. 

• Ability to work effectively with individuals of differing backgrounds, knowledge and skill levels.

Physical Demands

This job is physically demanding. It requires lifting heavy objects, standing, kneeling or bending for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
