The Custom Stair Design Technician will support our sales team and customers focused on high-end custom projects. Additionally, the Technician is responsible for acting as the liaison between the Field and the Engineering team. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, creative problem-solving, and strong communication skills to ensure the successful execution of stair projects.
Essential Functions :
- Serve as the technical expert in designing and executing custom stair and handrail projects.
- Perform field measurements at construction sites.
- Develop CAD drawings for custom stair and handrail projects.
- Serve as a technical resource for the sales team and customers.
- Define technical specs of custom components.
- Develop timely and accurate cost estimates for stairs and handrails.
- Perform project management for custom jobs.
