Position Overview: We are seeking a talented Custom Stair Builder to join our team. This role involves crafting high-quality custom stair systems, maintaining production schedules, and ensuring compliance with our stringent quality standards.
What You'll Do:
- Construct custom stair systems within designated timelines, adhering to Edge quality standards.
- Utilize templates and measurements to position parts and subassemblies accurately.
- Assemble components, ensuring a correct fit and meeting all specifications.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment, troubleshoot issues, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Conserve resources and contribute to team efforts by accomplishing necessary tasks and improvements.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to ensure material and resource needs are met.
What You'll Need:
- Proficient woodworking skills and experience with various power tools.
- Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately, with strong basic math skills.
- Experience in a production environment, capable of heavy lifting.
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making capabilities.
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and navigate throughout the warehouse.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
