Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving beverages, and ensuring that our guests have an enjoyable dining experience.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
- Operate cash register and process transactions accurately.
- Engage with customers, providing recommendations and ensuring their needs are met in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service and ensure timely delivery of orders.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, beer, wine, and supplies; assist in ordering as necessary.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while maintaining a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Stay updated on new drink trends, brewing techniques, and fine dining service standards.
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience in the food industry is preferred; fine dining experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system or similar cash register systems is advantageous.
- Strong math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on hospitality.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of brewing techniques and various types of beverages is beneficial.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in accordance with local laws and regulations.
