We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival with a friendly demeanor and assist them with seating arrangements.
- Manage the restaurant's reservation system, ensuring efficient seating and waitlist management.
- Communicate effectively with guests to provide information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies.
- Utilize Aloha POS or similar systems to assist with order entry and guest inquiries.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area, including menus and waiting areas.
- Help coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service for guests.
- Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing information about reservations and wait times.
- Assist in managing guest flow during busy periods to enhance overall customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus.
- Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills to engage positively with guests.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility in scheduling, including evenings and weekends as needed.
