Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; a Bachelor of Arts degree from an accredited college or university in a human services field is preferred.
- At least one year of experience in the mental health or psychosocial rehabilitation field, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prompting residents to start their day and assisting with daily activities.
- Monitoring medication and facilitating transportation.
- Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs), making appointments, cleaning, cooking, and providing overall caregiving support.
- Most importantly, supporting individuals in their recovery journey from mental illness, physical illness, and substance use.
