Position Summary :
The IT Manager will serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership, department heads, and cross-functional teams to ensure that our technology infrastructure and initiatives effectively support the company's strategic goals. While technical proficiency is valuable, this role emphasizes strong business acumen, vendor management of Managed Service Providers and Software vendors, financial oversight, and the ability to communicate IT priorities in a way that is meaningful to non-technical stakeholders.
Business Role :
Serve as the functional expert for Field Service Management (e.g., FieldRoutes), Financial (e.g., Sage / Intacct), and related business software (e.g., Voice to Pest). This includes understanding how each platform operates, how it drives critical business processes, and ensuring maximum value is derived from these tools.
Technical Role :
Partner with third-party Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to manage the Aruza IT environment. Establish development standards and processes for system integrations, determine reporting and enterprise data management systems, and ensure business collaboration tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite) are used consistently across the business.

Key Responsibilities :
- Strategic Planning & Alignment :
o Collaborate with executive leadership to identify technology solutions that support the company's long-term vision and growth plans.
o Translate business objectives into comprehensive IT roadmaps and ensure technology investments align with corporate strategy.
o Develop and manage annual IT budgets, focusing on cost-effectiveness and return on investment.
o Oversee contract negotiations, vendor relationships, and licensing agreements to maximize value and minimize risk.
o Serve as a liaison between IT and other departments to understand their operational challenges, propose relevant IT solutions, and ensure smooth implementation.
o Facilitate regular communication with stakeholders to provide updates on key initiatives, system improvements, and policy changes.
o Lead organization-wide initiatives that promote adoption of new technologies, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum benefit.
o Design and implement training and support programs that empower employees to use IT tools effectively.
o Ensure IT policies and practices align with industry regulations, legal requirements, and internal standards.
o Work closely with compliance, legal, and risk teams to safeguard the organization's data and maintain cybersecurity best practices.
o Guide and mentor IT staff to build a high-performing team that's responsive, innovative, and business-oriented.
o Foster a collaborative culture that values accountability, continuous improvement, and service excellence.
Qualifications :
o Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field; MBA or related advanced degree a plus.
o 5 years of experience in IT leadership roles, with demonstrated success aligning technology solutions to business objectives.
o Strong understanding of financial management, budgeting, and cost-benefit analysis.
o Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a talent for translating technical concepts into business terms.
