Position is Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm with the ability to work additional hours as needed.

Job Title: Enterprise Physical Security Specialist 2
Under moderate oversight, the Enterprise Physical Security Specialist 2 is vital to protecting Arvest’s people, property, and assets. This is achieved through proactive risk mitigation, incident response, access control management, and strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a well-protected environment across all geographic locations. The incumbent serves as a technical resource for the team and maintains knowledge of troubleshooting and problem-solving support for security technologies, escalating to senior team members for assistance. This role is to serve as the first point of contact to respond to security incidents or threats and escalate them to senior security team members or their direct manager.
What You’ll Do at Arvest: (Other duties may be assigned.)
Provide for the physical protection and security of personnel, property and assets through proactive measures and effective incident response, ensuring compliance with Arvest Bank policies and procedures.
Issue and maintain accurate records of physical security credentials for new hires, transfers, terminations, and lost or compromised credentials.
Assist senior team members in addressing security concerns and maintaining a safe working environment for associates and customers. Collaborate with management, HR, law enforcement, and third-party consultants as needed, escalating issues when necessary. Deliver periodic security awareness training to promote a culture of security consciousness among employees.
Respond to and manage security incidents, including identifying and diffusing disruptive behavior and escalating to management and/or law enforcement. Have the ability to use negotiation and persuasion skills to maintain control until a senior team member and/or law enforcement arrives and intervenes. Investigate security incidents, including requesting video surveillance, collaborating with law enforcement and internal stakeholders and preparing a written analysis for the Physical Security Leadership to prepare incident reports.
Collaborate with local management and employees to address security concerns and ensure a safe working environment. Escalate concerns, as necessary.
Deliver periodic security awareness training with employees, promoting a culture of security consciousness.
Develop relationships with local law enforcement and the regional security team to ensure effective collaboration. Develop relationships with other security professionals in banking and other industries.
Collaborates with senior team members to provide guidance and direction to third-party guards regarding post orders, procedures, and safety protocols, ensuring operational consistency and compliance with site-specific requirements. May also ensure the third-party guards maintain the needed network or physical access credentials.
Collaborate with third-party security vendors and contractors, ensuring service level agreements are met and performance is optimized. Serve as a technical resource for the team and maintain knowledge of troubleshooting and problem-solving support for security technologies, escalating to senior team members for assistance.
Maintain an understanding of Arvest’s security program, policies, standards, and procedures. Monitor security trends and emerging technologies to proactively mitigate potential risks and collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of security measures. Through continuous learning activities, maintain knowledge of physical security best practices, compliance, and emerging trends.
Collaborate with other Enterprise Physical Security team members by providing feedback and details from site visits related to third-party vendors and bank equipment installations. Report on new construction, remodels, or ATM-related projects, ensuring all equipment is installed to standards and operational and that local facility staff has been trained. Assist in tracking and managing physical security assets.
Routinely perform facility security checks to identify threats and vulnerabilities, including outside perimeter checks, ensuring all exterior lights work properly and all security devices are in proper working order. Visit with local associates to inquire about any issues or concerns about the facility.
Provide backup support to junior team members when necessary.
Serve as contact for the alarm monitoring company and local law enforcement. Be in the on-call rotation for alarm calls after hours and respond to after-hours emergencies or break-fix issues as needed.
Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; completing compliance training and adhering to internal procedures and controls; reporting any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and reporting any suspicious customer and/or account activity.
Toolbox for Success:
Associate’s degree in security management, criminal justice, related field, or equivalent related work or military experience required.
3 years of progressive experience in a banking environment, focusing on physical security management or operations management across multiple sites is required.
Experience in performing the essential duties of an Arvest Security Specialist 1 or equivalent related work experience required.
ASIS Associate Protection Professional Certification (APP) and/or Physical Security Professional (PSP) Certification or the ability to obtain it within 2 years of tenure is required.
Reside within one of the assigned bank regions' geographic territories.
Well-versed in all aspects of physical security management, with a proven track record of success.
Must be able to participate in an on-call rotation schedule and respond on 24/7 basis.
Must be able to work cooperatively with other co-workers and customers regardless of personality, presence or communication style and work in a stressful atmosphere.
Communicate highly technical information clearly and precisely to all levels.
Relevant military experience is considered for veterans and transitioning service members.

Previous Arvest experience.
Physical Demands:
Regular attendance is an essential function of the job. The associate must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and travel frequently by themselves within the US, possibly overnight. The associate must be able to navigate a construction site and access all areas of a facility.
