About The Opportunity
As a Logistics Account Manager, Duties will include developing customer and carrier relationships via inside sales activities, managing daily operations, and such other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned to you by your supervisor.. You will play a critical role in overseeing daily load activities while maintaining a high level of customer service to continuously exceed our customers’ expectations.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Build and maintain customer and carrier relationships to ensure dedicated capacity on a large scale
- Manage daily shipment activities, resolving issues to ensure pickup and delivery is on time
- Input and process accurate shipment data in our state-of-the-art systems
- Locate carriers for available freight and negotiate competitive rates
- Quickly and proactively resolve problems that may arise while a load is in transit
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- High attention to detail and proven ability to multitask
- Strong Communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Good organization and time management skills
