Job Overview:
The role of the Service Advisor/ Manager is to help clients understand their vehicle and the purpose of the recommendations our technicians give so they have appropriate understanding of their vehicle’s condition. This allows them to make informed decisions so they can “Drive In Confidence.” As a Service Advisor you use your listening skills to understand every client's unique goal for each of their vehicles. Your leadership skills shine by helping clients understand our shop flow and timing expectations so they have a flawless repair experience. Leadership skills in promoting shop flow are of vital importance as it keeps the technician work flow with appropriate parts arriving and vehicle timeframes flowing properly.
Responsibilities:
- Excellent client communications and relations
- Communicating client complaints and timeframes to Technicians
- Coordinating the schedule and workflow in the shop
- Finding parts and labor through the guides we have
- Keep customers informed about the status of their vehicles throughout the repair process
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Service Writer or Technician
- Friendly demeanor and excitement to chat with clients
- Proficient reading comprehension
- Strong Knowledge of automotive systems and repairs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A general knowledge and ability to use a computer including using software for estimating, repair tracking and ordering parts
- Ability to work with a team
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $36.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
