We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Licensing and Compliance Manager to lead and expand our licensing initiatives within the beauty and accessories industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with brand guidelines, checking product creative, managing licensing agreements, and identifying new business opportunities. This role requires expertise in brand licensing, contract negotiations, and trend analysis to enhance the company’s market presence.
Salary Range: $85,000-$105,000
Job Summary
- Brand Compliance: Oversee brand integrity across licensed products by ensuring compliance with quality and branding guidelines.
- Partnership Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with licensees, ensuring adherence to brand positioning, product standards, and marketing strategies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including creative, brand marketing, product development and sales, to streamline licensing operations and maximize brand impact.
- Market & Trend Analysis: Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive landscape, and consumer insights to inform licensing strategies.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations for licensing agreements, renewals, and amendments, ensuring favorable terms and brand alignment.
- Licensing Strategy & Development: Develop and execute strategic licensing plans to grow the brand’s footprint in the beauty and accessories market.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in brand licensing, business development, or a related field within the beauty and accessories industry.
- Background or experience in creative design a plus.
- Strong negotiation, contract management, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Proven ability to identify and capitalize on licensing opportunities.
- Experience collaborating with legal teams to ensure compliance with licensing agreements.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
