THE ROLE: VP, Sales
ASA is seeking an ambitious, results-driven Sales Executive with a proven ability to drive revenue growth, develop innovative strategies, and leverage entrepreneurial thinking to identify and seize market opportunities. You will play a critical role in building our for-profit subsidiary: TeenVoice, which provides Gen Z insights to drive decision making for educational institutions, corporate training programs, and other stakeholders.
This Associate will be responsible for designing and executing sales strategies to rapidly accelerate TeenVoice’s growth, build and grow their own sales team, and deliver tailored solutions that enhance the learning and development experience of our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and execute a sales strategy that aligns with the company’s objectives and targets, focusing on acquiring and retaining clients within the EdTech sector to create rapid growth and scale the business.
- Identify and evaluate market opportunities, trends, and customer pain points to propose innovative solutions.
- Manage the complete sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, ensuring a consultative approach tailored to clients’ needs.
- Work closely with the marketing team to refine lead generation efforts and nurture prospects.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor to understand their unique challenges and objectives.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to foster long-term partnerships and ensure high client satisfaction and retention.
- Represent the company in client meetings, industry events, and trade shows to build brand awareness and expand the network.
Performance Tracking & Reporting:
- Set and achieve sales targets, ensuring alignment with overall company goals.
- Monitor and report on key sales metrics, including revenue, pipeline health, and conversion rates.
- Utilize CRM tools to track sales activities, manage customer data, and forecast future revenue.
Team Leader:
- Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new sales team members. Build a strong, cohesive team through a combination of strategic hiring and mentorship.
- Provide ongoing coaching and professional development for team members. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement, encouraging the team to achieve both personal and professional growth.
- Set clear goals, track individual and team performance, and implement strategies to improve results. Provide constructive feedback and ensure alignment with the company’s sales targets
Required Skills & Experience:
- Sales as a Service Expertise: Experience in offering tailored sales solutions, outsourcing sales teams, or providing scalable sales infrastructure to clients.
- Education Technology Background: Proven experience in the EdTech industry, with a strong understanding of digital learning platforms, tools, and market dynamics.
- Entrepreneurial Spirit: Ability to identify market gaps, design innovative solutions, and implement strategies with minimal supervision.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth from $1M to $10M.
- Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales enablement tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
