Human Resource & Executive Administrator

ASA Builders is a looking for a part-time (15-20 hours / week) Human Resource & Executive Admin to help support internal human resource administrative functions including employee retention, recruiting & screening, new hire orientation, employee relations, and providing support to the executive leadership team.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of human resource administrative responsibilities, excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong technical skills in MS Office Suite.
Experience working in a warehouse environment and knowledge of safety, training, workers compensation claim processing, benefit
Responsibilities:
- Motivating, developing, and as they work, identifying the best people for the job.
- Supports the hiring process by screening, testing and interviewing applicants.
- Provides orientation for new hires by aiding in electronic onboarding, reviewing company policies, explaining benefit programs and ensuring any appropriate introductions and trainings.
- Maintain human resource records for employees by recording absences, tracking and creating performance appraisals, terminations, enforcing company policy and tracking paid time off balances.
- Document and track human resource actions by completing forms, reports, logs and records.
- Employee relations support including an open door policy, addressing performance concerns, investigations and ability to find resolution through troubleshooting and effective leadership.
- Process, verify, and maintain personnel related documentation, including staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, classifications, and employee leaves of absence.
- Provide assistance in administering employee benefit programs and worker's compensation plans.
- Support to the executive leadership team
