As a Human Resources Coordinator for Larry H. Miller and Asbury Automotive Group, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on our business and guests every day by helping to build great teams at our 6 dealerships in Albuquerque! We are looking for a smart, organized, assertive, people-oriented Human Resources Coordinator who will help us redefine the automotive experience.

This is a full-time, non-exempt, onsite role. The pay range for this role is $$

The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for assisting the HR Manager and HR Generalist with tasks pertaining to recruitment, onboarding, orientation, updating electronic employee files, and more.

Duties will include, but are not limited to :

  • Work closely with the HR Manager and Generalist to provide support as needed on highly confidential human resource matters and special projects
  • Conduct new hire orientation presentation twice a week (or as needed)
  • Use good judgment to triage requests from Hiring Managers and address or forward on appropriately
  • Post job openings, send offer letters, and track / update candidates in the Dayforce applicant tracking system
  • Track applicants throughout onboarding process and keep Hiring Managers informed of their progress
  • Communicate with applicants and new hires in a helpful and friendly manner
  • Order, review, and track applicant background checks and drug screens via Accurate Ace
  • Review job applications and onboarding documentation for thorough completion
  • Assure new hire I-9s are processed within compliance time frame
  • Upload new hire documents to electronic employee file to maintain compliance on HR related documentation

Requirements :

  • High school diploma plus at least 4 years administrative experience
  • Local travel required 2x weekly, or as needed
  • Comfortable giving small group presentations (typically 3-5 attendees, but varies)
  • Strong communication, organization, discernment, and assertiveness skills (saying no, setting boundaries, level-setting expectations in a firm but professional manner)
  • Exhibit a high level of confidentiality and integrity while handling sensitive matters
  • Committed to a culture of diversity and equality
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment background check and drug test
  • Knowledge of the recruitment process is a plus
  • College graduate with HR experience is a plus
