Responsibilities and Qualifications
The Payroll Specialist is responsible for processing a weekly payroll for specific platforms and/or specific dealerships. This includes working with dealership personnel to validate that payroll information is correct, proper review/approvals are received, payroll is processed in accordance with company policy and ensure all processing is compliant with key controls.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Set up new employees in UKG
- Ensure all proper documentation is received with each employee file
- Capture and validate payroll information from the dealerships
- Input payroll information into UKG
- Review payroll proofs and error validation reports
- Ensure proper approvals are received
- Work with the dealerships to resolve payroll issues and concerns
- Responds to questions from employees and resolves discrepancies
- Follows all defined payroll SOX controls as defined
- Adheres to organizational deadlines for payroll
- Practice continuous improvement
- Other responsibilities that may be assigned by your supervisor

- Intermediate Excel and MS Office skills

- Ability to work at a fast pace with a high degree of accuracy

Education & Experience
- Some Accounting and/or Payroll Experience Preferred
- Ad-hoc payroll reporting experience a plus
- UKG experience a plus
