Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED required. Associate’s degree preferred
- One (1) to two (2) years of front desk receptionist experience in a multi-tasking environment.
- One (1) to two (2) of experience answering phones in a busy office environment.
- Familiarity with Seniors and/or Fitness environment a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Greets and provides assistance to members and guests of the Cultural Arts and Wellness Center (CAWC). Receives incoming phone calls, listens thoroughly, answering each one accordingly, follows through appropriately by providing accurate information, scheduling evaluations or massage appointments, taking messages or routing calls to correct location.
- Ensures data is accurately collected and updated in Health Calc for wellness center participants including associates, associate guests, and residents.
- Assists with upkeep of member billing and money transactions.
- Responsible for the department’s accounting and AP functions that involve the residents and vendors. Resolves accounting discrepancies. Processes payments to contractors including preparation and submission of timesheets and check requests. Responsible for making weekly bank deposits. Carries out administrative duties including copying, faxing, maintaining files, and word processing. Designs communication fliers, announcements, and promotions. Orders supplies and equipment for the department.
- Assists the Fitness Director with the development of the budget by collecting data and making suggestions related to the financing of upcoming events, projects, initiatives, and programs.
