Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines to fabricate parts according to specifications.
- Set up and adjust CNC machines for optimal performance.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accuracy.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Collaborate with team members on the assembly line to ensure efficient production flow.
- Follow all safety protocols while handling materials and operating machinery.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in machining or a related field.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex machinery.
- Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles is preferred.
- Experience with materials handling and fabrication techniques.
- Ability to operate forklifts is a plus.
- Proficient in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Knowledge of logic controllers is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
