Skills & Experience
Ambitious, results-driven, take-charge self-starter who is a highly organized implementer with a keen sense of urgency to lead our procurement, inventory management and logistics team. In this role, you'll effectively plan/direct/follow-through and assume responsibility for continuously improving materials management by creating, implementing and maintaining processes to measure, monitor, and optimize inventory, purchasing and materials performance.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; or a comparable combination of education and experience.
- 10 years materials management, supply chain management, or purchasing experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated performance implementing cost-effective materials/purchasing system (automotive MMOG/supplier scorecards, discrete/repetitive order environment);
- Strong purchasing/negotiation skills with proven cost reductions. Hands-on buying high volume electronic components a plus.
- Strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP (Global Shop experience is a plus).
- Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must be able to work within the framework of 5S, ISO and IATF requirements.
- APICS certification preferred.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
