Ascend Autism, a leading provider of autism therapy services for children, is seeking a highly motivated and entrepreneurial Director of Marketing to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong marketing strategy and execution background who is eager to contribute to a purpose-driven mission and create meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities :

Brand Development

Ensure the brand’s identity, messaging, and positioning are consistent, compelling, and aligned with the market's needs. Work closely with leadership to refine and evolve the brand story to resonate with both new and existing customers.

Ecosystem & Community Growth

Build and nurture a thriving network of families, caregivers, professionals, and strategic partners to strengthen our brand presence and impact.

  • Partnerships & Advocacy : Identify and establish relationships with key partners (e.g., healthcare professionals, schools, daycares) and influencers to expand our reach and credibility.
  • Engagement & Participation : Cultivate an engaged community through events, social media, and interactive campaigns that encourage brand advocacy.
  • Customer Journey Enhancement : Develop and implement initiatives that improve the overall experience from awareness to long-term engagement, fostering a loyal and supportive community.

Social Media Strategy

Oversee the development and execution of an impactful social media strategy that amplifies the brand’s voice and connects with our audience. Highlight customer stories, share expert insights, and drive engagement through creative campaigns, influencer partnerships, and organic content.

Content & SEO Strategy

Develop a comprehensive content and SEO strategy that informs, educates, and inspires our audience while driving measurable growth.

  • Content Marketing : Create high-quality, audience-centric content such as blog posts, success stories, videos, infographics, webinars, and downloadable resources that nurture leads and showcase our expertise in autism therapy services.
  • SEO Optimization : Ensure all content follows SEO best practices to improve search rankings, drive organic traffic, and generate high-quality leads. Continuously monitor SEO performance and optimize content to enhance discoverability for families seeking autism therapy services.
  • Growth Marketing

    Drive innovative, results-focused growth marketing initiatives that scale customer acquisition and retention. Leverage both paid and organic strategies while experimenting with new tactics, channels, and tools to achieve growth milestones.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration

    Work closely with clinical teams, customer service, and leadership to ensure marketing efforts align with our mission of delivering exceptional care. Collaborate on initiatives that directly support client success and enhance the patient journey from initial contact through service delivery.

    Data-Driven Leadership

    Leverage analytics and performance data to assess and optimize marketing strategies. Establish and track KPIs to ensure marketing spend is efficient and delivers strong ROI.

    Qualifications :

  • 6 years of experience in marketing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven success in ecosystem and community growth, especially within a tech, healthcare or consumer-facing brand.
  • Strong expertise in brand development, social media strategy, content marketing, growth marketing, and SEO.
  • Entrepreneurial, gritty mindset with the ability to thrive in an evolving, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience building high-performing teams and leading cross-functional initiatives.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Data-driven with a strong understanding of marketing analytics and KPIs.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and finding creative solutions to complex challenges.
  • Experience with SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, etc.), social media management platforms, and marketing automation tools.
  • Preferred Skills :

  • Experience in a startup or high-growth environment.
  • Knowledge of paid search, performance marketing, and customer acquisition tactics.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and online reputation management.
  • Familiarity with email marketing automation and A / B testing.
  • Knowledge of the autism community and an understanding of the challenges faced by families and caregivers.
