Job Summary:
The Senior Human Resources Senior Manager will support Ascend’s U.S. operations in partnership with Ascend’s leadership Eurofins Group Human Resources. The Senior Human Resources Manager will engage with staff at all levels of the organization including Laboratory Operations, Client Services, Finance, and Sales. Expertise with organizational development, employee relations and benefit administration is preferred. The ability to act independently with confidence and exercise sound judgement is important in order to build internal and external vendor relationships.

Job Summary:
The Senior Human Resources Senior Manager will support Ascend’s U.S. operations in partnership with Ascend’s leadership Eurofins Group Human Resources. The Senior Human Resources Manager will engage with staff at all levels of the organization including Laboratory Operations, Client Services, Finance, and Sales. Expertise with organizational development, employee relations and benefit administration is preferred. The ability to act independently with confidence and exercise sound judgement is important in order to build internal and external vendor relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Guide leaders and employees regarding company policies, values, HR programs (benefits, pay and salary) administration, and interpretation to ensure policies and procedures are handled consistently and in a timely manner
- Must accurately diagnose organization issues, develop solutions, and implement action plans
- Must ensure activities are in compliance with all state and federal employment laws and regulations (e.g., FMLA, ADA, EEO and FLSA)
- Oversee Talent Acquisition Manager and assist with executing staffing strategies for exempt/non-exempt hiring needs
- Must be a confident communicator and must be able to effectively present to all levels of the organization
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects with overlapping tasks and work independently with minimal supervision
- Manage HR infrastructure that enables Ascend’s future successful growth. This includes benefits, compensation, talent attraction, policies, and organizational effectiveness to support Ascend initiatives
- Administer HR data and analytics, HR software, performance management, and all other critical HR systems, and processes. Maintain our HR systems and data integrity to ensure accuracy and consistency of employee information
- Continue to build out end-to-end onboarding processes for both clinical and non-clinical teams, continuously reviewing and iterating to ensure a best-in-class experience
- Partner with teams and individuals to help them continuously improve their effectiveness and achieve business and career goals. Use data and problem-solving methodologies to continuously improve HR processes
- 7 years of Human Resources experience. Experience in a high-touch HR environment is preferred
- Balance your strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an empathetic communication approach. Be a builder and be comfortable implementing and administering HR tools
- Familiar with CA and CO state and Federal regulatory requirements pertaining to workplace practices
- Adept at identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities
- Compassionate, open-minded, and non-judgmental. Ability to think quickly and solve problems in the moment
- Have experience with people systems (HRIS) and processes including setting them up, transitioning vendors and improving on existing infrastructure
- Have used data and problem-solving methodologies to continuously improve HR processes and service levels to the business
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, business, or related field required. Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development or related fields is a plus
- $130,000-170,000
