The Volunteer Supervisor is responsible for, but not limited to:
- Adequately support volunteer operations and to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Recruit, interview, hire, train and retain volunteers
- Plan, implement and document ongoing volunteer recruitment and retention
- Develop and perform public service announcements and outreach to the communities served
- Plan, assign and direct volunteer workload
- Achieve Monthly/Quarterly recruitment goals
- Orient new volunteers to facilities and homes
- Maintain volunteer personnel files
- Participate as a member of the IDT including development and implementation of the plan of care
- Track volunteer timesheets and maintain monthly statistics
- Provide ongoing support and recognition for volunteers
- Completes competency visits and yearly supervisory visits of volunteers
- Schedules time in a flexible manner to accommodate volunteers' time
- Completes filing, typing and mailings and computer work as assigned

- experience in a related capacity
- Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable source of transportation
