Job Description:
A Hospitalist Physician is needed for a locums opportunity in Lebanon, MO. This is an urgent need to fill a vacancy at a 58-bed community hospital. The shifts are 12 hours per day and the physician will work 7A to 7P with nights covered by Mercy Virtual. The ideal candidate will be board certified and have experience working in a community hospital setting.
The position includes up to 15 days of coverage per month. The patient census is over 20 patients and the required procedures include intubation, line placement, and other general surgery procedures. The ICU is open and the hospitalist manages the patients. Subspecialty support is available from General Surgery, OBGYN, and Orthopedic surgery. The hospital requires a completed Covid vaccination card as a bid document.
