The Manager of Strategic Partnerships and Engagement will play a key role in cultivating and managing relationships with corporate, faith-based, and philanthropic partners to advance FC's mission. This individual will develop meaningful engagement opportunities, lead sponsorship initiatives, and oversee key donor programs to foster long-term, transformational partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Corporate & Faith-Based Partnerships
- Cultivate and manage relationships with corporate and faith-based funding partners, ensuring alignment with FC's mission and goals
- Collaborate with the FC team to design and execute meaningful engagement opportunities, such as volunteer initiatives, lunch-and-learns, and site visits.
- Maintain consistent, high-quality communication with key partners, providing updates on impact, opportunities for involvement, and recognition of contributions.
- Develop and manage an annual engagement calendar, ensuring seamless internal coordination for partner events and initiatives.
- Organize periodic check-ins with key funding partners to strengthen relationships and demonstrate impact.
- Work closely with FC's development team to identify new funding opportunities and steward existing partnerships.
- Secure sponsorships for FC programs, initiatives, and special events.
- Document all engagement within Bloomerang
- Partner with FC leadership and the board to establish and grow a Leadership Circle for major donors.
- Plan and execute exclusive dinners with the Executive Director and Leadership Circle members throughout the year.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Leadership Circle gatherings, ensuring seamless event execution.
- Conduct timely follow-ups with attendees, offering personalized opportunities for continued engagement and support.
- Document engagement in Bloomerang software
- Provide ongoing communication to Leadership Circle members about FC's impact
- Support with holiday gifts and recognition of top donors
- Provide strategic leadership in developing and implementing Ally Dinners, a key initiative to deepen community engagement, spiritual integration, and social capital.
- Work with FC's leadership team to create a comprehensive strategy and timeline for Ally Dinners.
- Recruit, train, and support volunteers to serve as hosts and facilitators.
- Oversee operational logistics to ensure smooth execution of each Ally Dinner, creating a welcoming and impactful experience for participants. United Way Partnerships
- Act as FC's primary liaison with United Way partners, fostering collaboration and strengthening community ties.
- Coordinate and lead quarterly meetings with United Way partners.
- Serve as FC's lead representative for the annual United Way grant process.
- Actively participate in United Way Community of Practice and Quarterback meetings to stay engaged with broader community initiatives.
- Ensure community engagement and partnership activities align with the strategic plan and contribute to program goals.
- Develop and implement community engagement strategies to enhance the organization's presence and influence.
- Represent the organization at community events, forums, and meetings to advocate for its mission and programs. Volunteer Stewardship
- Collaborate with Hospitality and Events manager to develop and maintain a volunteer management strategy, process and procedures
- Document Volunteer Engagement in Bloomerang
- Strong relationship-building skills with experience managing corporate, faith-based, or philanthropic partnerships.
- Excellent project management and organizational abilities, with a track record of successfully executing events and engagement strategies.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, from corporate executives to fath leaders and community members.
- Experience in fundraising, sponsorship development, or donor stewardship preferred
- Highly proactive and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
