About the Job
Continuous Improvement Engineer is a role that requires 3 years of experience working in a large-scale continuous manufacturing site. The person should have expertise in conducting cycle time and bottleneck analysis, waste mapping, process optimization, and new product trials resulting in improved throughput, quality, or yield.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with plant CIMS network to improve quality, efficiency, and RTY metrics.
- Benchmark existing processes against best-in-class systems and identify performance gaps.
- Improve process capability through better operational processes, instrumentation, automation, and error-proofing techniques.
- Track progress on key process measurements and communicate to stakeholders.
- Manage small and medium scale Capital projects that enable process improvement work streams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Process, Mechatronics, or Mechanical preferred).
- 3 years of experience as Continuous Improvement Engineer, Process Engineer, or Mechatronics Engineer.
- Experience working in a continuous manufacturing environment with thorough understanding of manufacturing processes and procedures.
- Expertise in raw materials and raw material processing.
- Demonstrated ability to build credibility quickly at all levels within manufacturing.
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Able to manage time and work autonomously, remain organized to achieve goals within desired timeframes.
- Ability to effectively drive change in the workplace.
