Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Process Optimization Specialist to join our team at Ascend Recruiting Partners. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives in our manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with Plant Teams: Collaborate with plant CIMS networks to identify opportunities for quality, efficiency, and reliability improvements.
- Performance Gap Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of existing processes to pinpoint areas for improvement and develop strategies to close performance gaps.
- Benchmarking: Research best-in-class systems both within and outside the company to inform process optimization efforts.
- Process Capability Improvement: Implement operational enhancements, instrumentation upgrades, automation, and error-proofing techniques to improve process capability.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Process, Mechatronics, or Mechanical preferred).
- Experience: 3 years of experience as a Continuous Improvement Engineer, Process Engineer, or Mechatronics Engineer, with a strong background in continuous manufacturing environments.
- Skills：
- Demonstrated ability to build credibility quickly at all levels within manufacturing.
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to apply structured thinking and analysis to complex problems.
- Strong project management skills, with experience managing small- to medium-scale capital projects.
- Proficiency in process engineering, including design and constructability reviews, commissioning assistance, and process control logic development.
- Familiarity with process automation, laboratory testing, and change initiative participation.
