The Electromechanical Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electromechanical systems and equipment. Electromechanical Technician Tasks & Duties (What you'll do)
Install, test, and troubleshoot electromechanical systems, machinery, and equipment.
Inspect and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of equipment.
Perform routine maintenance on machinery, electrical circuits, and related systems to minimize downtime.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to identify issues and make repairs.
Diagnose electrical and mechanical malfunctions and take appropriate corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
Calibrate machines and systems to maintain optimal performance and precision.
Collaborate with engineering teams to improve system designs and resolve operational problems.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs for compliance and quality control purposes.
Use testing equipment and specialized tools to identify issues and perform repairs effectively.
Respond quickly to emergency breakdowns to minimize downtime.
Electromechanical Technician Shift Info
Day Shift, 7 : 00am to 3 : 30pm
Monday - Friday
Electromechanical Technician Qualifications (Requirements / Skills)
Associate’s degree or certification in electromechanical technology, electrical engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as an electromechanical technician or similar role, preferably in an industrial setting.
Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including AC / DC circuits, motors, control panels, and sensors.
Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics and blueprints.
Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of safety procedures and industrial standards.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
