Electronic Assembly Worker Tasks & Duties (What you'll do)

• Read, view and follow written and visual (picture) instructions for how to put parts together

• Using mechanical and electrical assembly techniques, assembles components, sub-assemblies and major components to manufacture air pressurization equipment.  May perform a variety of different assemblies.

• Must have working knowledge of a variety of hand tools as well as power tools to perform the job.

• May be required to make changes or adjustments to prints and parts to complete the assembly.

• Trouble shoot as you go along.

• Inspect own work to ensure operational and accurate.  Verify each installation to operational method sheet.

• Parts and materials handling as required. 

• Assist and train co-workers.

• Follow safe job practices.  Verify equipment functions and accuracy.  Perform preventative maintenance as required and ensure the work environment is safe.

• Determine the best procedure to do production run efficiently and accurately.

• Notify appropriate personnel if router, E.C.O. or OMS changes are needed.

• Do other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Check assembled products to make sure they're put together correctly (quality control)

• Look for issues or broken products, write these down and tell the supervisor

• Fix products to make them match the product picture diagram

• Write down any issues with products and record how many products you've assembled

• Make sure your workstation has enough parts to assemble

Electronic Assembly Worker Shift Info

• Day Shift, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

• Monday - Friday

Electronic Assembly Worker Qualifications (Requirements/Skills)

• Electronic Assembly Worker experience preferred

• Technical drawings

• Mechanical aptitude

• Numeric Skills:

• Requires the ability to use basic mathematics such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

• Reading Skills:

• Requires reading of materials to understand and apply

• Writing Skills:

• Requires the ability to use basic writing skills to accomplish such tasks as completing forms or communicating simple instructions.

Initiative and Ingenuity to problem Solving:

• Technical drawings

• Mechanical aptitude

• GED / High School Diploma

• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen

• Able to pass a background check

• Able to work in the US

• Knowledge of manufacturing, equipment maintenance, safety management, and controls and instrumentation

• Reading comprehension skills with the ability to interpret and follow written directions, blueprints, and engineering diagrams

• Basic math skills to measure parts and product

• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift 30-50 pounds

• Able to pass a background check

• Able to work in the US
