About the Role - The Mechanical Assembler position involves preparing, assembling, and installing components to meet required specifications across various departments including Welding, Mechanical, Hydraulic, and Electrical. The role requires the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and the ability to read and interpret schematics and work orders. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will utilize basic hand tools such as tape measures and specialty equipment, and you will be expected to learn and operate all equipment within your work area. Flexibility is key, as you may be required to move to different work areas to support production needs and cross-train in various functions. The position also entails testing installed components, following established safety, environmental, and quality policies, and maintaining your work area and shop tools.
Responsibilities -
- Assemble various types of air pressurization equipment using mechanical, electrical and hydraulic assembly skills.
- Will work with schematics, technical drawings, operational method sheets as well as both verbal and written instructions.
- Using mechanical and electrical assembly techniques assembles components, sub-assemblies and major components to manufacture air pressurization equipment.
- May perform a variety of different assemblies.
- An ability to trouble shoot problems as you go along is essential.
- You May be required to make changes or adjustments to prints and parts to complete the assembly.

Pay range- $19.00-$22.00
