Warehouse Supervisor Tasks & Duties (What you'll do)
Receive and unload pallets and products
Ensure that labor follows all instructions, and that paperwork is filled out accurately.
Supervise Teamsters on devans and load outs : Assist Operations Manager to advise as to load patterns, etc., to ensure stable cargo placement and integrity
Carefully handle fragile merchandise
Track and document exact shipment arrival and departure times
Assistant Operations manager to hold Union employees accountable for adhering to contractual agreement and all regulatory requirements.
Assist Operations Manager on training and retraining new and current employees
Prepare all orders for shipment
Record and manage all impaired or damaged merchandise items
Operate appropriate warehouse machinery (for example, forklift)
Enter data in inventory and logistics software programs
Move product from and to pallets
Wrap and prepare pallets for shipping
Warehouse Supervisor Shift Info
Day Shift, 7 : 00 to 3 : 30
Monday - Friday
Warehouse Supervisor Qualifications (Requirements / Skills)
Warehouse Supervisor experience preferred
Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen including THC for this position
Able to pass a background check
Must have forklift experience, minimum requirement is 5 consecutive years.
Loading and unloading of trucks, trailers, flatbeds.
Management or Supervisor experience. Past experience will be considered.
Experience moving over sized material, like pipe, lumber, etc.
Solid work history that demonstrates reliability
Able to work on your feet for 8-hour shifts and lift 30 or more pounds regularly
Basic computer skills for maintaining inventory logs and databases
Excellent attendance with a stable work history
Able to work as an active member of a team
Excellent interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of managemen
Able to work in the US.
