Current job opportunities are posted here as they become available.Ascendant is recruiting qualified candidates for a Construction Superintendent position to support Federal programs in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.ResponsibilitiesPlans, organizes, directs, and controls field operations for assigned construction projects.Leads, manages, and coordinates the construction workforce (Ascendant personnel and subcontractors) to ensure that quality, schedule, budget, and safety targets are achieved.Foster relationships with fellow Ascendant project team members, clients, and subcontractor partners.QualificationsMinimum 5 years experience in the construction industry with a commercial and / or institutional general contractor engaged in general building and civil construction, and or interior fit out.Demonstrated understanding of building plans, specifications, and construction means and methods associated with the renovation and construction of commercial and institutional buildings and related site work.Effective communication skills with all project stakeholders.Federal Government project experience is a plus.Must be able to obtain security clearance.#J-18808-Ljbffr
