We’re excited to announce an opportunity for a Junior Recruiter to join one of Ascendion’s subsidiary companies on a 6-month contract! Responsibilities
- Recruit through various avenues including internal databases, university job portals, networking events, career fairs, etc.
- Conducts phone conversations with potential candidates to explain opportunities.
- Facilitates and organizes career fair events, phone calls, and initial screening interviews.
- Will be responsible for documentation and reporting feedback, focused approaches, overall ratios, and pipelines.
- Demonstrates comfortability speaking in front of a diverse class.
- Ability to professionally engage in conversations that are difficult in nature, handling escalations, giving positive / negative feedback, and responding to questions appropriately.
- Interaction with external and internal faculty, clients, vendors.
- Champion the facility and candidate relationships.
- Ability to present ideas and take initiative for new projects.
- All dedicated responsibilities will be focused to support the Hire Train Deploy Program.
- Engage in weekly calls with Executive Sponsors.
- Build and maintain candidate and university relationships
- Ability to discuss and establish rapport at all levels in the organization and university
- Maintain a database of external candidates and referrals
- Attend multiple networking events

Pay range and compensation package
This role offers an hourly rate between $18 and $24, based on experience.
