JAS is currently seeking a Senior Recruitment & Labor Management Specialist to join its Contract Logistics division Human Resources team. The position is a hybrid role and must have flexibility to work in office a couple times a week. The office is located at 1100 Thorndale Ave, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007. Must have the ability to succeed in a highly independent and self-motivated environment.
SUMMARY :
This role will work within the Contract Logistics Human Resources team, with a focus on recruitment and labor management responsibilities within the contract logistics operation. The role will oversee all matters related to temporary labor management including contract administration, daily labor reporting, and agency relationship management. The role will also complete recruitment for the contract logistics group, including developing recruitment plans, partnering with hiring managers to identify talent needs, sourcing and screening candidates, conducting interviews, negotiating compensation packages, and managing the full recruitment lifecycle to attract and hire top talent for the division.
JOB DUTIES : Labor Management
- Identifying and vetting local and national temporary staffing providers as needed or requested by local contract logistics managers, or by the VP Operations at a national level, based on current service and performance gaps
- Working alongside branch management and the JAS legal team to execute agreements with temporary staffing providers
- Maintaining a positive relationship with temporary staffing providers throughout the contract logistics network
- Facilitating quarterly business reviews with temporary staffing providers to monitor agency performance and opportunities for additional business or service enhancements
- Generating reports and updating the labor board tracker with hours worked by temporary staffing associates, as well as JAS contract logistics employees, to ensure labor costs are captured and tracked daily
- Maintaining the accuracy of the labor board tracker and working with the IT Power BI team on any troubleshooting or error corrections
