We are growing Solar Company, looking to bring on an experienced Buyer to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have 3 years of purchasing/buying experience.
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Prior experience with both purchasing buying
- Strong negotiation skills with a focus on cost savings and recovery for loss of time and/or materials
Responsibilities:
- Source and purchase materials, components, and services required for our manufacturing facilities
- Ensures timely receipt of ordered material to meet manufacturing requirements
- Secure suppliers of materials and services including logistics that meet quality, price, and delivery requirements
- Manage category spending for sister facilities as assigned
- Negotiates agreements for terms and price
Salary : $70,000 - $100,000
