Overview:
Ascendion is seeking a highly motivated and driven Sales & Recruiting Intern to join our Direct Hire Recruiting team in Irvine, California. This internship is designed for sophomores entering their junior year or juniors entering their senior year.
As a Sales & Recruiting Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in both sales and recruiting, working alongside a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. This is an excellent opportunity to develop professional skills and enhance your career in recruiting and sales.
Position Type:
- Onsite: Monday through Thursday
- 20 hours per week
- Paid internship
Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis: Analyze recruiting and sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Market Research: Conduct research to gather market data on current industry trends, competitor activity, and candidate profiles.
- Cold Calling: Initiate outbound calls to prospective clients, candidates, and partners to build relationships and generate business.
- Sales Support: Assist with client-facing activities, including preparing sales presentations, tracking client interactions, and helping to drive business development initiatives.
- Administrative Tasks: Provide general administrative support to the team, including maintaining databases, updating records, and assisting with scheduling interviews.
Qualifications:
- Education: Currently enrolled as a sophomore entering junior year or junior entering senior year at an accredited university. Degree focus is open.
Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to sit at a desk for extended periods.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Background:
- A background in playing sports is preferred, demonstrating teamwork, competitiveness, and strong work ethic.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous internship experience in sales or client-facing roles is highly preferred.
- Experience or interest in recruiting, human resources, or business development is a plus.
