What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Cost Estimator position at Ascendion?
We are a growing construction company, specializing in earthwork which includes; dirt work, pipe and utilities. We are looking for an experienced Senior Cost Estimator, with previous dirt work, pipe and utility experience.
Requirements:
- 8 years of experience
- Previous experience estimating with dirt work, pipe and utilities
- Experience working independently, as well within a team
Responsibilities:
- Assemble accurate and well organized estimates and proposals in a timely manner.
- Provide clear detailed quantity take offs
- Organize sub-contractors quotations, negotiate to ensure quotes meet contract documents and issue proper documented purchase orders
- Take notes from management team on alterations to the bid, revise, review, and continually improve accuracy of information as bid date approaches
- Maintain relationships with subcontractors and clients
Salary : $150,000 - $200,000
