Human Resources Manager
Location: Hybrid – Chicago, IL (In-office 3 times/week)
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee a broad range of human resources functions, including payroll, employee benefits, compliance, and full-cycle recruitment. This hybrid role offers an exciting opportunity for a proactive HR professional to make a real impact in a dynamic and growing organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Processing: Efficiently manage multi-state payroll operations using ADP Workforce Now.
- Benefits Administration: Administer employee benefits programs (including HSA Bank, BCBS, and New York Life) and lead open enrollment.
- Recruitment: Drive full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, prescreening, onboarding, and collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Employee Relations: Be a trusted point of contact for employee inquiries and assist with conflict resolution.
- HR Reporting: Prepare and analyze HR reports to support decision-making and audits.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in HR management, payroll processing, and benefits administration.
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations (especially multi-state).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a hybrid environment.
