Ascendo Resources is actively seeking a Leasing Administrator/Operations Assistant for an immediate, full-time, onsite, long-term contract role!
Our client, a reputable high-end residential organization, is located in Brooklyn, NY 11217.
The Leasing Administrator/Operations Assistant will provide long-term temporary coverage (7 months), supporting day-to-day operations. This role includes front-facing office management, resident support, posting rent payments, lease reviews, and coordination with various departments.
Hours: Mon - Fri (9am - 5pm) (35 hour work week)
Pay Rate: $35/hour - $38/hour
Key Responsibilities:
Reception:
- Answer and transfer calls professionally
- Respond to general inquiries and emails
- Greet residents, vendors, and visitors
Office Administration:
- Provide admin support to operations teams
- Handle clerical tasks: data entry, filing, mailing
- Maintain office supplies and equipment
- Manage incoming/outgoing mail and deliveries
Operations:
- Assist with tenant billing and rent postings
- Coordinate tenant move-ins/outs
- Support emergency response efforts
- Prepare reports and manage accounts receivable data
- Ensure compliance with company policies
- Collaborate with leasing, compliance, and accounting teams
Ideal Candidate:
- 2 years in a similar role
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and office applications
- Yardi experience preferred (not required)
- Problem-solver with a hospitality mindset
- Must be able to work fully onsite
