Are you a highly skilled Family Law Paralegal looking for an opportunity to grow with a dynamic and expanding firm? A well-established family law firm with multiple offices across North Carolina and South Carolina is seeking an Experienced Family Law Paralegal to join its Charlotte, NC office.
This firm is dedicated to providing top-tier legal services in family law, trusts and estates, adoption, mediation, immigration, and more. As the practice continues to grow, it is looking for a dedicated professional to support its attorneys and manage the day-to-day operations of the legal team.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Prepare, file, and serve legal documents, including pleadings, subpoenas, financial affidavits, and client correspondence.
✅ Assist with trial preparation, including demonstrative exhibits, pleading notebooks, and child support calculations.
✅ Analyze evidence and discovery, draft responses, identify missing documents, and produce Federal Rule Letters.
✅ Manage case files and litigation calendars, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
What We’re Looking For:
✔️ 3 years of experience in a family law firm.
✔️ Strong knowledge of Mecklenburg Local Rules and their application in family law cases.
✔️ Exceptional organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and handle high-pressure, emotionally charged situations with professionalism and empathy.
✔️ Self-motivated, proactive problem solver with a keen attention to detail.
✔️ Licensed North Carolina Paralegal and Notary Public preferred.
