Ascendo Resources is seeking a highly skilled Paralegal to join our team in Miami Lakes, FL. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to work in commercial real estate transactions, including leases, purchases, sales, and financing.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and Review: Prepare and review legal documents, correspondence, and closing binders to facilitate commercial real estate transactions.
- Title Matters Coordination: Coordinate title matters with title insurance companies and law firms at all stages pre-closing through post-closing.
- Due Diligence Coordination: Coordinate and supervise due diligence for sales, acquisitions, and commercial loans.
- Landlord-Tenant Issues: Assist with handling of commercial landlord-tenant issues.
- Government Inquiries: Assist with local governmental inquiries and lien searches.
- Form entities in connection with real estate acquisitions.
- Establish and organize files; monitor deadlines; input information into file database.
- Prepare summaries of key terms and critical dates for real property acquisitions.
- Assist attorneys in drafting leases, contracts, and correspondence.
- Coordinate discovery responses with outside counsel.
- Manage litigation calendar for mediations, discovery, and court hearings.
- Administer third-party claims, including initial review, internal communications, and coordination with insurers.
- Administer invoices for outside counsel fees and other litigation costs.
