Seeking a SBA Loan Processor to join a growing team in the Bronx. As an SBA Loan Processor, you will be responsible for managing the closing process of SBA loans from approval to funding. You will collaborate with borrowers, lenders, and third-party service providers to ensure timely and accurate loan closings while adhering to regulatory requirements and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and verify loan applications to ensure compliance with SBA guidelines and company policies.
- Collect and organize all required documentation from borrowers, including financial statements, tax returns, and supporting documents.
- Input and process loan data into the company’s loan processing system.
- Prepare and send loan documents for signatures and follow up to ensure completion.
- Communicate with borrowers to clarify information, request additional documents, or provide updates on loan status.
- Assist loan officers with structuring SBA loan packages to meet program requirements.
- Track loan progress and ensure timely processing within the SBA’s guidelines.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SBA regulations, loan programs, and industry standards.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an SBA Loan Processor or in a similar role within the financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of SBA lending programs
- Proficient with loan processing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and guidelines specific to SBA loans.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
