Ascendo Resources is urgently seeking two experienced professionals to fill the role of Wire Transfer Operations Specialist. This position requires a strong understanding of domestic and international wire transfer processes, as well as knowledge of regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in wire operations within a financial institution. They should be familiar with SWIFT, Fedwire, CHIPS, and core banking systems, with a preference for Jack Henry AS400, Payplus, and Finastra.
Responsibilities include:
- Processing and reviewing domestic and international wire transfers via SWIFT, Fedwire, and internal payment systems.
- Verifying transaction details, resolving exceptions, and escalating discrepancies or potential fraud.
- Maintaining compliance with AML, BSA, and OFAC regulations, conducting due diligence on transactions.
- Providing high-level support to internal stakeholders and clients regarding wire inquiries.
Requirements include:
- 1 years of experience in wire operations within a financial institution.
- Knowledge of SWIFT, Fedwire, CHIPS, and core banking systems.
- Strong understanding of AML, OFAC, and compliance protocols.
