What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Accountant position at Ascendo?
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks utilizing our enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, either SAP or Oracle. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial records.
Responsibilities :
- Process financial transactions in [SAP / Oracle].
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end closing procedures.
- Analyze financial data and generate reports.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Maintain strong internal controls and ensure adherence to accounting standards.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues from various departments.
