ROLE SUMMARY : At Ascendum, the Financial Analyst conducts quantitative analyses of information affecting budgets, expenses, and other financial projects. This role involves collecting and analyzing financial data for assigned accounts, products, or business units to track the organization’s progress against financial goals. The analyst will assist in financial planning, reporting, and decision-making processes by providing data-driven insights and recommendations.

RESPONSIBILITIES : Satisfactorily performing and / or achieving the following Responsibilities are essential duties of the job. Job duties are dispersed by the CFO.
- Collect and analyze financial data related to budgets, expenditures, revenue, depreciation, and investments.
- Report current and expected financial performance and create financial models to guide decision-making.
- Conduct variance analysis and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Develop financial forecasts, budgets, and cost-benefit analyses to support business planning.
- Analyze cash flow and profitability to make recommendations regarding financial procedures, plans, and controls.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial reporting processes and business efficiencies.
- Assist in financial audits by providing necessary documentation and support.
- Monitor economic trends and industry changes that could impact financial performance.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements :
PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
SCHEDULE : The standard work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, from 8 : 00am to 5 : 00 pm. However, it's important to be aware that, as a salaried employee, there may be instances when you will be required to work beyond these hours to fulfill the job requirements.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS : Occasional travel (up to 10%).
FLSA STATUS : The U.S. Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) requires employers to classify their employees as being either exempt or non-exempt for the purpose of being paid overtime wages. The essential duties of this job are such that the employee is classified according to the FLSA as an Exempt employee.
